Not all vans are built the same
What's behind the walls matters more than most people realize.
460Ah
Lithium power bank
Most vans: 200–300Ah.
52gal
Fresh water capacity
Most vans: a 20–30 gallon tank.
200L
Fridge and freezer: 150L fridge plus a 50L freezer
Most vans: 100–130L total, with a freezer the size of a shoebox.
Sleeps 2
Organic mattress topper, and a completely non-toxic bed area.
Most vans: foam that off-gasses and glues that smell.
7large drawers
Plus a garage, laundry chute, and overhead storage.
Most vans: a drop-down bed that turns into a dining table. Nice, until you realize there's no room left for anything.
Instant
hot water
Ready when you are, every time.
Most vans: a 30–60 minute wait for water to heat. It sounds minor until it's every day.
400W solar
Plus 50A alternator charging and shore power.
Most vans: around 200W of solar.

Seven years of design,
distilled into one build.
After seven years of designing and building vans, we found that one layout, refined over and over, beats a custom build designed in a few months and sold at a premium.
—More water and power than most vans on the market
—Every inch does real work, refined over years in the same few square feet
—A laundry chute you can reach from the main living space
—A trash bin big enough to use
—The largest fridge we could fit
—Nothing overhead to close the space in
—Room for two to sit comfortably for dinner or a work session
We've been in dozens of vans, and it takes real thought and intention to build one you want to relax into instead of feeling crowded out.
Full kitchen and dinette, doors open
Van parked on an overlook with the awning out and sliding door open
Built with care, without the big-company price.
We're a small team, so you pay for the van, not for a big company behind it.
—6 to 8 vans a year, built one at a time
—No large marketing team and no huge warehouse to pay for
—Similar handcrafted builds often cost $75,000 to $150,000 more
—Owners of well-known van brands have told us ours is the one they'd choose to live in
—A 3-year warranty on every build
—You pick it up from the person who built it, with direct access to him long after
That difference goes into the van itself.
Handcrafted in real maple.
Plenty of vans are cut on a machine and put together like a factory product, with laminate ceilings and hard edges. We went the other way.
—Real maple ceiling, bed ends, butcher block, and shelf
—Sanded by hand and sealed with a durable finish
—Clean, professional lines where they matter
—Tough laminate only where the van takes the most wear
You get the warm glow that only real wood has.
Rear garage with hidden storage under the bed
Built to stay out for weeks.
Some of our clients travel for weeks or months at a time, and some live in the van full-time. What usually pulls you back to town is food, water, or power, so we built the van to carry more of all three.
200L
Fridge and freezer: a 150L fridge plus a 50L freezer. The largest you can fit in a van short of a stand-up household fridge.
52 gal
Fresh water, arguably the most of any 144 build, thanks to space underneath the van that most conversions never use. Long showers, long stretches off-grid.
460Ah
Of lithium power, with twice the solar of most vans this size (400W). Hot water is heated by the engine coolant, so it costs no battery at all.
Same layout, your style.
The layout stays the same because it already works. What you choose is how it looks and feels.
—Pick the fabric and color of the seat cushions
—Wrap the fridge in any color
—Choose a different butcher block finish
—Swap the handles
We leave out overhead cabinets on purpose. They make a van feel closed in, and with deep drawers and a full garage, you don't need them. If you'd like one for a microwave, toaster oven, or extra storage, we can add it.
